Calendula (Calendula officinalis)

Medicinally, marigold is known as a remedy for skin complaints; it is effective for most minor
skin problems, cuts, grazes, wounds, inflamed skin including minor burns, sunburn and fungal
conditions like athlete's foot, thrush and ringworm.  It also helps to alleviate diaper rash.  New

Calendula is related to burdock and chamomile, herbs that are also used by herbalists for
their skin-soothing properties.  Among calendula's chemical ingredients are factors that
reduce inflammation and combat infection from bacterial, fungal and viral sources.  Factors in

Comfrey (Symphytum officinale)

Medicinally it is used externally for cuts, as a compress and to treat vericose veins.  It can

Comfrey contains allantoin, a medicinal ingredient that reduces inflammation and according to
herbalists, stimulates the immune system and eases asthma, ulcers and lung ailments.  Do

Plantain (Plantago Major)

Has been acclaimed for its ability to relieve bee stings, insect and spider bites and rasher

Peppermint (Mentha piperita)
