Class Offerings
Basic CP Soap Making – Learn the basics of making soap combining lye and fats. Lye
is caustic and must be treated with respect; this method is not dangerous if proper
precautions are used. Makes a wonderful soap for your total body and will benefit your
skin type (oily, dry, eczema, etc.) Everyone will be provided with a bar of soap previously
made from a similar recipe. (Soap needs to “cure”, so the batch made in class will not be
distributed.) 4 Hours - $65 registration and materials.
Advanced Soap Making – Learn more advanced techniques – swirls, layering, use of a
lye calculator, herbal oils for specific qualities, aloe, goat milk and other additives. Must
have recently taken Basic CP Soap Making. 3 Hours - $65 registration and materials
Lotion, Cream and Body Butter – Learn to make your own lotion/cream/butter using
infused oils based upon your skin conditions. This is based solely upon using natural
herbs and their qualities, no medical advice is dispensed. We’ll discuss herbs that have
certain qualities and how to add them to your lotions. You will take home a small bottle of
the lotion, cream or body butter we make. You can choose from a variety of fragrances. 4
Hours - $65 registration and materials
Laundry Soap – Make your own laundry soap (dry or liquid) for pennies of what traditional
laundry detergents cost. People with allergies may benefit from using this soap. If you
desire scent, you can add a fragrance to it. No matter which way you make it, it saves you
$$$. You will take home a pint of the laundry soap we make this day. Try it and see how
well it works! Then make your own soap. Especially helpful during these times of
economic trouble – save money any way you can! 1 Hour - $15 registration fee and $6 for
materials (one gallon pump dispenser for your liquid soap)
Body Scrubs and Salts – Scrumptious body scrubs and salts to be used in the tub or
shower. Exfoliates dead skin while absorbing the benefits of the oils in the mixture. Can
be scented or unscented. Small amount of preservative is needed and used to keep the
“buggies” away. You make your own small batch of scrub and salts and take it home with
you. Choose from a variety of fragrances. 1.5 Hour - $25 registration and materials
Creamed Soap – Want to pamper yourself with your own homemade creamed soap?
This is the class for you! Make wonderful shower presents, birthday gifts, graduation gifts,
etc. Creamed Soap + nylon Pouf = Pure Decadence! This soap must cure so you will
take home a small jar of previously made creamed soap. You can add your choice of
fragrance at the end of the class. 4 hours - $65 registration fee and materials
Shower Gels and Shampoo- Make your own shower gels and shampoos from scratch
or from concentrate. Learn how to make a paste that can be diluted into gels or
shampoos. Gels from scratch take more than 24 hours to cook, so part of the class will
need to be finished at home. However, using the concentrate that is available, we can
complete the process during the class. 4 Hours - $65 registration fee and materials.
Herbs and Body Products - Learn about some of the common uses for herbs based
upon hundreds of years. We'll discuss using common herbs such as Arnica, Chamomile,
Comfrey, Plantain, Lavender, Peppermint, and others. This class is required prior to
taking the Infusing Herbs and Massage Oils classes. 2 Hours - $30 registration fee.
Infusing Herbs - Infuse your own herbs for making your lotions and potions! Learn about
common herbs and their qualities. Learn how to combine herbs to obtain maximum
benefit from their qualities. No medical advice is given, only general information on the
qualities of the herbs. Bring a favorite body product (non-prescription) and let's discuss its
ingredients. We can determine if we can make a "generic" that is similar to it. Must take
Herbs and Body products prior to this class (or same day) 3 Hours - $65 registration fee
and materials. You will take home a pint jar filled with herbs infusing in a carrier oil.
Massage Oils - Make massage oils for your personal use. We will discuss carrier oils,
essential oils and infused herbs and how they can enhance your well being. Must take
Herbs and Body Products prior to this class (or same day). 2 Hours - $45 registration fee
and materials. You will take home a small bottle of your own special blended massage oil.

and the name of the class(es). You will be contacted once there are enough participants to
set up a class. Class can be held within the Las Vegas vicinity including Pahrump,
Henderson, Boulder City and nearby communities. With advance notice, classes can be
held in Phoenix and Los Angeles areas. For locations outside this geographic area, e-
mail me for availability and costs.
Classes can now be attended from the comfort of your own home with a
connection to the Internet and conference calling at no additional cost to you.
If there is a group of individuals who want to take the class(es) together, please contact me

discuss numbers and possible discounts.
These classes are held on an as-needed basis. There is a minimum of 4 adults needed
for each class longer than 1 hour. For classes one hour in duration, there is a minimum of
6 adults required. Children are NOT allowed in any of the classes. They cause too many
distractions, no matter how young or cute they are.
Course fees and materials must be paid in advance. 100% refund if course is cancelled
for any reason. 80% refund will be given if participant provides at least 7 days notice of
inability to attend. No refund if notified within 1 week of the class. Pay Pal is accepted
and you will receive an invoice upon registering. Registration is considered complete
upon check clearing the bank or confirmation from Pay Pal.
